Valley Oak families choose, plan and participate in independent learning activities
during the week, parents work in the classroom on a rotating basis (approximately one
day every eight weeks). As part of an Independent Study program, learning activities

Visions In Education (VIE) is a charter school that provides educational services
to two different student populations, home school and independent study. VIE serves
kindergarten through-12th grade students in Sacramento County and eight contiguous counties
