A Christian directed service organization designed to provide practical help, support and encouragement for homeschoolers throughout Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. HEN provides a bi-monthly new homeschooler orientation meeting, a summer conference, a used curriculum sale and an Email tree, as well as a monthly newsletter complete with timely articles and information about groups, activities and opportunities of interest to area homeschool families.

We are a Christian homeschooling group. We geographically limit the growth of our group to those within the Pella, Iowa Area School District, and will consider those members of the immediate neighboring communities that are without their own local homeschool support group as space allows. We offer a once-a-month Activity Day where the children from preschool to 3rd grade participate in Show & Tell, Art, and Music Classes. Simultaneously we offer a monthly Study Group for children in grades 4 and older. We have weekly choir and ballet/tap classes. We also have monthly Field Trips from September to May, and monthly Support Group meetings for the mothers. Other activities include a Track & Field Day, Summer Picnic, Family Harvest Party, Family Sharing Night, Curriculum Fair, Father/Daughter Activities and Father/Son Activities. Members are kept up to date with our monthly newsletter.
