Silver State High School is a Free Public on-line distance education high school. Students attend classes once per week to meet with their teachers and do their remaining class work on- line. This format allows students to make appointments or come in on other days to get individualized help from their teachers. Students are also encouraged to phone or contact their teachers using instant messaging during the day and into the early evening whenever they need help. Our school has a large computer classroom lab and other classrooms using state-of-the-art computer presentation to allow the students to work online or attend presentations by their teachers. Additionally, the school has individual cubicles where students may use computers and work uninterrupted, yet able to seek their teacher’s help when needed.
