ACE Homeschoolers
Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly environment for our children to socialize and develop friendships. Since there is no group "leader" everyone is welcome, and encouraged, to plan activities and provide input into group direction. We request that you live in Aurora, CO or surrounding communities, attend one activity before joining and pay a $12 membership fee.

Agape Family Schools
Agape Family Schools is a support group for homeschool families in Loveland, CO and the surrounding area. It is a forthright Christian organization established for the purpose of providing support, encouragement and information for homeschooling families. This pertains to homeschooling, and organizing activities for home schooled children including field trips and educational services. We hold monthly meetings during the school year and have many small groups who meet on a regular basis. Small group activities vary from a mom's night out, to field trips and park days.

Christian Home Educators of Colorado, CHEC
A non-profit, Christian organization, dedicated to providing information, resources and leadership to all families involved in home-centered education. Christian Home Educators of Colorado is committed to the advancement of home education, and consider it part of our mission to help ease the burden of this responsibility for all families across Colorado involved in home-centered education.

Colorado Homeschoolers & Unschoolers Meetup Site, CHUMS
We are a community and support network for homeschoolers, unschoolers, and anyone providing a home-based education for their children in the greater Colorado Springs area.

Colorado I-70 Corridor Homeschoolers
The I-70 Corridor Homeschool Group is a Non-Directed Homeschool Support Group serving communities along the I-70 corridor in eastern Colorado, including East Aurora, Watkins, Bennett, Strasburg, Byers and surrounding communities. The primary focus of this group is as a social and educational outlet for parents and children. We plan weekly get-togethers and field trips. Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly environment for our children to socialize and develop friendships.

Common Ground Homeschoolers (formerly CCHFS)
Common Ground Homeschoolers is an inclusive group of families seeking educational alternatives for our children. We follow no specific religious or political agenda, nor do we espouse any particular educational or homeschool philosophy. We welcome all independently learning families, and choose to honor our differences while building on our combined strengths. We offer park days, field trips, monthly teachers' nights out, co-ops, opportunities for presentations and other activities.

Denver Unschoolers
Denver Unschoolers a group in the Denver metro area for all homeschoolers regardless of their homeschooling philosophy or spiritual beliefs. We hope to help provide support, friendship, group activities and co-op opportunities.

Front Range Independent Educators North of Denver, FRIEND
FRIEND is a group comprised of a variety of families with many learning styles. Our families have children ranging in age from infant through high school. Our views on education are as varied as the ages of our children; from "unschoolers" to those with structured "school at home". Our goal is to provide a safe, friendly environment for our children to socialize and develop friendships. Everyone is encouraged to plan activities and provide input into group direction.

Homeschool Science Colorado
Homeschool Science Colorado is a club that fields two Science Olympiad teams, a B Division team of students ages 9-14 and a C Division team of students 13-18. We compete each year against other Science Olympiad teams, first in March at UCCS (Colorado Springs) and then, if we qualify, in Golden at the School of Mines in April. Our team, founded in 2008, has an excellent record and our students have won many medals.

Longmont Christian Homeschool Co-Op
The Longmont Christian Homeschool Co-op unites local homeschoolers by providing a monthly newsletter, large group activities, sports, topical meetings, community contact, and small group support. Although we are a Christian organization, your family does not have to subscribe to the Co-opís beliefs in order to become a member. Only leaders of each support group are required to sign the Co-op's Statement of Faith.

Nature's Classroom Homeschool Group
Curiosity is an innate ability that helps us to learn. Our children have a natural curiosity about what goes on in the world around them. Allowing them to explore this natural curiosity will enable them to appreciate the world around them, deducing information from what they see and interact with, and allowing them to grow into respectful human beings.

Northern Inclusive Colorado Home Educators, NICHE
Northern Inclusive Colorado Home Educators (NICHE) is an eclectic and inclusive association of families who homeschool in the Boulder county and surrounding counties north of I-70. Members are from Lafayette, Erie, Broomfield, Boulder, Longmont and more. Membership is free. We are an inclusive group. Our members practice all kinds of homeschooling and unschooling and represent many different religions and political views.

Northern Colorado Homeschool Association
We are a group of homeschooling parents and children from as far south as Berthoud and as far north as Livermore. Our reasons for homeschooling differ, as do our styles of and approaches to education. What we share is a respect for all learners and a desire to support one another. Most families live in Fort Collins, Colorado, but there are also families in Windsor, Loveland, and Wellington.

Parker Christian Home Educators
We are Christian parents actively involved in providing a Christ-centered, quality education for our children, spiritually, morally, and academically. We welcome all members; however, anyone assuming a leadership or decision-making position will be asked to sign either our Statement of Faith or the Non-Offense Policy.

Secular Homeschool Support Group (SHSSG)
Based in Colorado Springs, and providing Yahoo Group on-line support throughout Colorado, this group caters to the diverse community we live in. All families that school at home are welcome. Our members prefer that their religious and political beliefs not be a part of this group's identity or purpose.

This "electronic bulletin board" was designed to facilitate communication among homeschoolers living along the U.S. Highway 285 corridor, specifically the Colorado communities of Morrison, Conifer, Pine, Bailey, Shawnee, Grant, Jefferson, and Fairplay. This group is not to be associated with any specific homeschool organization, although members are encouraged to post announcements from local homeschool organizations and/or other groups of interest. Due to the personal nature of information shared on this board, membership is restricted to homeschool families living in the designated area.

3-D Field Trips
We are an open-minded group of homeschoolers (traditional, waldorf, eclectic, free schoolers) and non-homeschoolers (school age kids and preschool kids) from the Evergreen/Conifer/Pine area, who get together on a regular basis for field trips and other activities. Our outings range from hikes to museum trips to casual playdates, and parents get together for things like book club or wine night.

Alpine Homeschool Alliance
Alpine Homeschool Alliance is an inclusive homeschooling group serving the San Luis Valley, Colorado. We embrace all lifestyles, belief systems, education styles and ages--all who homeschool or support homeschooling are welcome to join in. The world is our classroom! Come learn with us! Free membership for all members of Alamosa, Rio Grande, Conejos, Costilla, Saguache, and Mineral counties.

Blue Skies: Unschooling in Colorado
Blue Skies: Boulder Lifelong Unschooling Enthusiasts - the bulk of us are along the Front Range from Denver to Fort Collins. The purpose of this group is for parents and children: 1. to get together to play. We have weekly park days (usually in the Boulder/Longmont area), and monthly Mom nights out. 2. to support unschoolers and people wanting to unschool in Colorado. Relaxed homeschoolers are welcome, but understand that we're not here to support curriculum or how to get your kid to do X.

Boulder County Home Instructors
We are the Boulder County Home Educators/Instructors Association. Individual home schooling families keep in touch to exchange information regarding studying and educating tips as well as planned group activities.

Colorado Classical Educators
Colorado Classical Educators is a group of South Metro Denver families who are providing their children with a classical education. Most of us are home educators. We welcome anyone interested in the classical approach to education (emphasizing literature, particularly the classics; reading, writing, narration and Latin or Greek). Afterschoolers are welcome to join us. All faiths are welcome. We meet once a month for an evening coffee or meal, without our children. Field trips and other family activities are planned as inspiration dictates. We stay in touch and provide ongoing support via e-mail.

The DNHC (Denver Northwest Homeschool Community) is an inclusive, non-religiously oriented group of home-educating families.We welcome diversity and depend on the participation and contributions of all members. Most members live in the west area of metro Denver, Colorado, but activities may take place all over town. Our email list is open only to active DNHC members.

Front Range Independent Educators North of Denver, FRIEND

Weekly events, get-togethers, field trips, and a monthly Momsí Night Out are member planned.

H.O.M.E. (Helping Our Members Educate) Colorado
A Colorado Springs homeschool support group that provides monthly mom's meetings, a chess club, playgroup, Book Talks, girls group, boys group, group for children 13 and over, holiday celebrations, field trips, H.A.R.T.S. (History, ART, Science Fair), and a Promotion Day. We are a predominantly Christian group and only allow like-minded Christians to be involved at a leadership level (lead a field trip, girls or boys groups, etc.).

Homeschoolers of Windsor
This is a members only group for members of the Homeschooler of Windsor, Colorado group.

R-HOM Arvada Area
To assist home educators through monthly meetings, newsletters, fieldtrips, fellowship, prayer, and home school resources. We espouse various educational philosophies, and teach children at many levels, from preschool through high school.

Roaring Fork Valley Homeschool Network
We are a group of families, in the Roaring Fork Valley of Colorado, who like to keep in touch and support each other on our homeschooling journeys. Some of our families are from outside this area. The ages of our families range from teens to toddlers. We get together for fieldtrips, play dates, curriculum idea sharing, special classes, but most importantly to support each other on a daily basis with this list.

Secular Homeschool Support Group
Based in Colorado Springs, and providing on-line support throughout Colorado, this group caters to the diverse community we live in and all homeschooling families are welcome. Our members prefer that their religious and political beliefs not be a part of this groups identity or purpose.

This egroup is for families living in Colorado (primarily the Front Range)that are using or interested in using the Sonlight homeschool curriculum. We hope to offer support for each other's homeschooling journeys. Members may wish to arrange meetings with others, or plan field trips together. Southwest Eclectic Homeschoolers
Southwest Eclectic Homeschoolers SW Eclectic Homeschoolers invite families in the Durango, Silverton, Cortez, Mancos, and Bayfield areas of Colorado as well as the Aztec, Cedar Hill, and Farmington areas of New Mexico to post any social or educational events or information on this site. We are a loose community of homeschoolers and unschoolers who welcome all regardless of educational methods or religious beliefs.

Spiral Academy Homeschool Group
A Colorado based homeschool group for Pagan, and other like minded people homeschooling without Christianity. Our group is for those living in or moving to Colorado. Our children range from newborn to age 16.

Washington Park Homeschoolers
Washington Park Homeschoolers is a secular homeschool support group located in CO with most of our members living in central Denver. This group is for kids and their parents who already home school or who are just thinking about it. Some of our activities include a science/art group, bookclub, park days and field trips.

West River Academy is a fully accredited independent private school in Colorado designed for families who desire the benefits of private school enrollment but minimal oversight over their educational activities. Families may follow the curriculum and/or learning style of their choice, or may receive assistance from us in designing or choosing a program that fits their needs. Grading of students is optional and if desired, it is done by the parents.
