Raymore Home Educators
RHE meets monthly, September through May, on the first Thursday at 2:30 PM. We meet at the First Baptist Church of Raymore (116 S. Washington, Raymore, Missouri), and occasionally in warm weather months we meet at a local park. Our meetings provide interesting speakers and activities for the children while the parents discuss upcoming opportunities, and learn from speakers especially helpful in equipping the parent/teacher.

Smoky Valley Home Educators
A home school support group composed of over 60 families who meet regularly for education and encouragement of our parent-teachers. SVHE meets on the fourth Monday of each month from August through May (except December).

South Central Family Educators
A support group of homeschool families from Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and the surrounding area. South Central Family Educators is a homeschool support group that exists to assist parents in their labor to fulfill their God given responsibilities to nurture, instruct, and discipline their children. We endeavor to instruct our children in a manner that will prepare them to take their place in society as God-fearing citizens.

Stepping Stones Homeschool Group
We are a group of Christian homeschool mothers gathering together to share our gifts with one another, both our children and our teaching skills. Our group meets weekly Fall through Spring on Thursdays from 9-11:30 a.m. We have scheduled field trips and speakers in the months of March and April and periodically thoughout the school year. We meet at Grace Community Church in Overbrook, KS. Classes are split up into small groups according to age and grade. Each parent helps in some way, either teaching or helping in a class. Subjects have included art, p.e., history, life skills, spanish, communications, and science, to name a few.

Teaching Effective Academics in Christian Homes (TEACH) is a local homeschool support group that has provided support for Douglas County homeschoolers since 1988. TEACH activities include a monthly newsletter, a resource center, selected junior and senior high school classes, filed trips, learning groups, academic testing, help for new homeschoolers, special events, fellowship and encouragement. TEACH's membership includes approximately 100 families.
